Deacon J and COMMUNION THE CONCEPT

The concept for Deacon J and COMMUNION comes from the fellowship shared among musicians while worshiping God in song. Without the gift of music, the world would be in much worse shape, with no hope of rising above life’s troubles. Deacon Dennis Jackson, who attends Hillcrest Baptist Church in Country Club Hills, Illinois, sees communion as an intimate relationship with God, and Gospel music as a powerful conduit for the delivery of His message. COMMUNION members represent a variety of musical backgrounds, styles, and church affiliations.
